STEM State Report card is out!
Today, WE bring you some great news and celebrations, from the land of STEM! Our State Report Card was officially released today and all other schools’ reports from around the state are also now available on DPI’s website. While we don’t hang our hat solely on one score... one test... one grade, we take great pride in our State Report Card score and especially the categorical victories that we have embraced at STEM and worked so hard with our students to achieve. When folks ask if “this type of learning” works... I think the answer is a resounding YES! Through engagement, collaboration, innovation, thinking and creation, in a very progressive setting, our students are able to propel their learning and growth to the top of the mountain! This can be seen on a daily basis, by looking at all of their amazing projects and examples of learning and it’s always nice to confirm with a comparative assessment score, as well as other factors, such as the STATE Report Card.

When we refer to the factors that compose the State Report Card, they can be seen below (from the DPI site):
Accountability report cards include outcomes in four priority areas:
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I can work through any explanations, or questions that you may have. Please take a moment to look over the attached documents, which include our Report Card, as well as annual data and [several] categorical analyses of WSA, to also celebrate with your student this evening, because this would not be possible without their hard work, dedication and amazing energy!
GO STEM... Keep Innovating!
